The Effects of Role-paly on Social Skill and Self-Efficacy of Children at Community Child Center

Abstract

The study is aimed to test the effects of role-play on social skill and self-efficacy of children at community child center. 7 children were recruited from community child center in S area. Role-play is performed for two hours, total of 10 times. The tool of measurement for this study was Social Skill Rating System and General Self Efficacy Scale. The results were as follows: First, experimental group showed significant improvement in social skill at post-test. Second, experimental group showed significant improvement in self-efficacy at post-test. This result indicates that role-play improves social skill and self-efficacy of children at community child center.
